Vehicle Description
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1977 International
Harvester Scout II. A long-term Georgia and South Carolina truck,
it has a great look finished in blue with a white hard top and
stripes. Driver-quality paint and body with solid floors and
rockers. Custom front and rear bumpers are a nice touch - the rear
has a wing-away spare tire carrier with a jerry can holder. Winch
on the front bumper appears to be in good condition but the
controller is missing. General Grabber 33x12.50 tires (with
matching spare) on black steel wheels plus a Rough Country lift
give this truck a great look and serious off-road bona fides.
No-nonsense interior features front bucket and rear bench seats
with recent upholstery; for safety, the truck has a roll bar with
three-point belts (front) and lap belts (rear) with option for rear
shoulder belts. Interior floors and hard top have been rhino-lined;
new carpet adorns the front passenger area floors. AM/FM stereo
with usb and aux input in dash with speakers in the rear quarters
forward of the rear wheel arches. Wipers, heater blower and all
exterior lights are working.
Under the hood is a 345 cubic inch V8 with an Edelbrock four-barrel
carb, mated to a TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission. This Scout
is equipped with power steering, power brakes (front disc) and a
twin-stick transfer case shifter. It starts, runs and drives well.
It's a bit more rough-and-tumble than many of the Scouts we deal
in, but it's also offered at a considerably lower price point than
a more highly restored example.
