1966 Austin Healey 3000 Convertible. Purchased this Healey from the
2nd owner in 2007. The car had been painted in the late 80's at
Four In Tune, a well-known British car restorer. She still wears
that Colorado Red exterior. From 2008-2009 Mark Baker at Sport and
Specialty (northwest of Chicago) renovated/rebuilt all mechanical
systems, making for a safe and pleasant drive. The engine was
rebuilt, engine bay detailed, car was rewired and new gel battery
installed, a Petronix ignition system replaced the original points,
front shocks were rebuilt, new rear leaf springs installed, brakes
rebuilt and all lines were replaced, a new SS exhaust added,
Dynamat and Wilton Wool carpet added, new rear luggage rack
installed, and new 60 spoke wire wheels finished the process. Have
all covers made for the car (California cover, tonneau, boot cover
and cockpit rain cover. The interior seats and dash were left in
their original gray; the original radio was non-functioning. The
car is registered with the BMIHT. This car is a true British
driving experience, and a beautiful example of Donald Healey and
Gerry Coker's talents. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location
