The C5 built for a total of eight years from 1997 through 2004
produced almost 250,000 units in the form of a hard-top, fixed roof
and convertible in a multitude of option packages ranging from base
to the Z06. They also built a commemorative edition for its final
year of production and to highlight the huge wins at the 24 hour of
Le Mans. The package consisted of a special paint color called "Le
Mans Blue Metallic" and shale leather interior.
