Free Shipping for this lovely original Landrover Defender
A low mileage, (103,800) 12 seater vehicle, first registered in 1992 with just 2 owners from new. The first owner, a British Airways (Concord) engineer (also a balloon operator) had her for 11 years, and me for 15 years, has only ever been used for balloon recovery pulling medium sized trailers and transporting passengers on short journeys.
I am selling my Defender due to scaling back my hot air balloon business after 31 years. I recently had the 4 side doors re-sprayed, some artwork remains on parts of the vehicle. Although perfectly serviceable, this Defender would be perfect for restoration to concourse, or upgrade if you are not a purist. She runs very reliably and has been well maintained, with no issues, starts every time, even in the winter. This vehicle has only clocked 7000 miles in the last 5 years.
Defender production ceased in 2016 and their value has increased dramatically since then. This car is very likely to increase its value in years to come. Hoping to find a good owner who will continue to look after her as this vehicle was at the heart of our business for many years. Defenders are known to go up to 500k miles, and it is estimated that 75% of Landrovers produced since 1949 are still running worldwide!
I have a Heritage Certificate of authenticity supplied by the British Motor Museum. The certificate shows that all original numbers match the vehicle. The original certificate will come with the car as will all the other original documents, and the owner’s manual.
