This is a really nice Charger. The current family has owned it since 2002. When purchased, it was an original car to the best of their knowledge. We have registration stubs from 1970 and 72. The car was always here in Texas. The original Certicard shows the owner to be from Tyler, Texas, it was then sold to the 2nd owner in Fairfield, Texas, then the 3rd owner in Allen and the final and current owner in Lewisville, Texas.

The Charger has been sitting in the owners garage for the past year and not driven. The family just had the fuel system cleaned out and the carburetor rebuilt. It is running great now.
The first generation 1966 Charger was a unique body style for Dodge. It's fastback body style would only last for 2 years.
The original paint color, SS-1 on the build sheet, is Cream.
The EL dash lights are also not working, but there are also alternative replacement power packs for those on line.
The mileage is believed to be original. With the overall condition of the car, it more than likely is.
The hood latch wire is broken, but it is easy to open the hood with the release just under the hood. There is a place that will rebuilt the original one for a price. They are also available on eBay.
The front carpet appears to have been partially replaced at some point.
The interior chrome is all in excellent condition.
This was the really cool thing about these Chargers. The entire console and rear seats folded down to give this large area for luggage or whatever you wanted to haul back there.
The other non working part of the car is the head light doors. The motors seem to be bad. Again, there are several places to find replacements.
The car is badged as a 383, but the engine is actually a 361 and believed to be the original engine.
The undercarriage is very original and because it has been a Texas car all of it's life, it is very solid.
The original paint is thin in areas, and has some little rust bubbles here and there, but in general this car is really solid.
Again, please feel free to call Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with questions.
We also have financing available for classic cars.
