1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone, This Mercury Cyclone is one of a kind. There is less than 400 of these left. This car has had a total restoration. It is almost perfect and has the most perfect black paint you will ever see. The body is lazer straight with no rust. This is truly one of the best Comets you will see. This car was in storage for 45 years and is truly a barn find. It still has the original dash pad and sun visors that was never touched other than cleaning. This car has won a lot of Best In Shows, Best engine, Best Paint, Several Celebrity Choice awards, won at the Ford Nationals in Carlisle Penn., won at Lakeland Fla. at the Carlisle Fun in the Sun show, National Parts Depot choice award in Silver Springs Fla. and many more. This is a California built car with a 4 speed manual transmission with a hurst shifter. It has an X Racing crate motor with a hydraulic roller cam from Ford Racing with dual quad Edelbrock Carbs, aluminum flywheel, heads,and radiator. Aluminum Raceline wheels with redline tires. It has a 3.50 ratio rear gear. We still have the original 289 with flywheel and clutch assembly and shifter. It also has aftermarket AC and Borgeson power steering.
