the original COPO with its options. This car has been Equipped with
the LSX based 427 CID V8 Producing 425HP An ATI Racing Products Pro
Glide Two Speed Transmission turn the strange axels and the COPO
Specific Bogart Racing wheels wrapped in the stickiest HOOSIER
rubber. This actual COPO has not been raced. Making it fresh and
ready for the next owner to drive this car like it was made for.
All in all, you will not find a more perfect COPO to collect and
enjoy. Since this is a non street legal race car this COPO Camaro
comes with its own 2017 24 Foot trailer complete with A/C and
cabinents. The Copo's Legacy: COPO's second coming builds on a
legacy established in 1969, when the first purpose-built Camaro
drag-racing specialty car was designed to compete in the NHRA Stock
Eliminator. The COPO nameplate is a nod to the Central Office
Production Order system, which cunning Chevrolet dealers used to
build one-of-a-kind high-performance models. In 2011, a new COPO
concept was shown at the SEMA Show. The overwhelming response
inspired a special-edition production run. Engines were assembled
at the Wixom Performance Build Center, where the buyer could opt to
participate in the engine assembly. With national records for
quarter-mile times in the 9-second range, the COPO's success has
continued every year since the 2012 model year, with a limited run
of 69 cars. Each COPO Camaro race car is built by hand starting
with production hardware, including the same body in white used for
production models. The production race cars are fitted with an
NHRA-approved roll cage and other safety equipment, along with
racing chassis and suspension components - including a unique solid
rear axle system in place of a regular-production Camaro's
independent rear axle. If you're looking to stand out at every
