THE STORY BEHIND THIS 1965 SHELBY BACKDRAFT COBRA
This 1965 Shelby Backdraft Cobra #331 is a ex-race car campaigned in 2007 by Reg And Frank Dodd, The Owners Of Backdraft Racing. At the end of the season, they restored it to street legal form. basically, everything was replaced, a New Keith Craft Engine (Installed by Speedfannatix in Florida), Tremec 5-speed Transmission, Seats & Interior, Windshield, Roll Bars, Wheels, Tires, Brakes And Suspension. However, it still retained some of it's race equipment such as the Oil Cooler, Remote Oil Filter, Ceramic Coated Headers and it's 4 Core Aluminum Racing Radiator.
