Vehicle Description
1947 Willys CJ2A. A true farmer's working Jeep. Near original with
matching frame, body, and engine numbers. 33,730 miles. Partial
restoration completed which includes original Yellow paint color,
all new brake components dual master cylinder, hard and soft lines,
and 11' CJ-5 drums, 12 volt upgrade, including coil, plugs, plug
wires, starter, starter switch, alternator, and battery,
reconditioned seats, and tons of new reproduction replacement parts
including steering wheel, rubber body seals, tires, tubes, fuel
lines, fuel pump. Other maintenance done including oil changes,
steering box rebuild, coolant, filters, u-joints, and hoses. All
parts taken off are available and can go with the Willys. Being a
partial restoration, fully functional and driveable as is but does
have uncompleted tasks. Needs installation of bezels, paint and
installation of shifter cover and boots, boots not included, front
marker lights, paint and installation of tool box cover,
installation of 'lollipop' windshield hinges, current windshield is
cracked, parking brake handle included, wipers some vacuum lines
included, fuel gauge. In addition, the original body panels, except
the underside, were stripped of paint and prepped before painting,
though there are areas where body sheet metal is missing due to
past rust, mainly in areas where the wood body frame supports
reside, and near bottom channel of windshield frame. All areas
prepped with all rust removed prior to repainting. Body also has
two 6' holes added to access PTO drive line for maintenance.
Underside has exposed wood supports where hat channel used to be
but all areas painted with epoxy. Please Note The Following
