For Sale: 1968 Ford F250 in Herndon, Virginia

Vehicle Description

Price reduction! This 4x4 F250 is a San Jose, CA-built F25 Custom Cab, Camper Special with rare Explorer Package. This bumpside 2WD was properly converted to 4x4 with a 1978/1979 F26 4x4 chassis and running gear. Power steering and front disc brakes. Factory A/C (not functional), tinted glass, bed tool box, sliding rear window, and dash gauges. New built 460 CID with rebuilt C6 auto trans. New Magnaflow exhaust and Holley 750 Double Pumper (mechanical secondaries), new mini hi-torque starter. Dana 60 rear & Dana 44 front axles in excellent running order Rebuilt NP 205 transfer case and steering system.  Currently, this truck is my daily driver (with vintage tags) Engine runs fantastic...gobs of torque and HP...so it flies down the road. C6 shifts perfectly with barely noticeable shifts. Fun and easy to drive and enjoy: launches strong, tracks straight, zero steering wander, stops straight with ease. Good electrics and all lights and signals work. Needs paint and rust work to complete.
