1996 Chevrolet Impala SS Sedan

Residing on the African Savannah and confronted with a threat, the sleek, nimble, and fast Impala will take flight to outrun or confuse its competitor. Aptly named, the Chevrolet version introduced in 1958, continued to emulate its animal namesake through years of design modifications, and power options made available.

This Black beauty brings a shudder to my mind. As a frequent speeder, I've engrained the Impala shape in my mind that I need to slow down in anticipation it is not the Po Po awaiting my quick arrival to their radar in their unmarked cruiser (this Impala). Now they patrol in anything, so that theory is gone by the wayside, however it still sticks in my mind!

Exterior
Beautifully straight all steel panels draped in deep gloss black base coat, and clear coat, are seen throughout this car. Virtually dent free, the car's exterior could be said to be in all but showroom condition. All correct badging, and bumpers are attached, and a rear spoiler adorns the top of the trunk. 17" cast aluminum wheels are seen all around and add some bright spots to the corners.

Interior
Gray leather on a 45/45 6-way power bucket seats in front, and a full bench in back shows in very nice condition. A leather wrapped steering wheel, leather door panels, and leather dash are adorning the passenger compartment as well. All power conveniences, power windows, power steering, power brakes, power locks, AM/FM seek scan radio/CD player. Twilight sentinel sensor turns the headlights on for you when it is the perfect time. Don't forget the tinted glass all around as well.

Drivetrain
The 5.7 Liter SFI V8 with a super smooth automatic transmission, takes you down the road in a breeze. The ride and drive suspension and Decarbon shocks well as a limited slip axle contribute to the smoothness of the ride. 4-wheel ABS discs all around bring all this speed and comfort to a halt. Underside of this car presents in fair condition with surface rust, that is similar to the engine bay.
