coolest late 70's vintage cars to hit our floor, this bold, highly
original and slightly modified, Lipstick red 1978 Ford Thunderbird.
The car was purchased new at Don Seelye Ford of Kalamazoo Michigan
optioned with the 302 V8 engine, Selectshift Cruise-o-Matic
transmission and rear wheel drive. As most birds of the day, the
cars came quite equipped standard from the factory including power
steering, power brakes, Duraspark ignition, steel belted radial
tires, opera windows, full wheel covers, electric clock, dual note
horn and Directaire ventilation system. Additional factory options
include: White vinyl roof, dual accent stripes, power antenna,
finger tip speed control, 6 way power seat, deluxe bumper group,
air conditioning, am/fm stereo, interior d�cor group, lower
bodyside protection, tinted glass, dual sport mirrors, front
license plate bracket, power side windows, and wide c/k vinyl
insert bodyside moldings.
Today, at 82,740 miles, the car remains in excellent original
condition including original interior and original paint; a
testament to the care that the car has received over its lifetime.
As a bonus, an air ride suspension system was installed by Slammed
of Fort Lauderdale Florida and a very cool set of custom wheels by
Detroit Steel Wheels. Those two subtle modifications puts the look
of this car off the charts and has total stage presence. The car is
a proven driver, turn key and ready to impress.
