Vehicle Description
STK 2523 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
The popular Corvette C3 was produced from 1968 through 1982. This
1973 roadster is a very nice example of a driver-quality Corvette
that has been partially restored and garage kept - very important
with these cars. Our current owner (20 years) believes the 93K
mileage shown on the odometer is to be correct. All body panels are
very true and a re-spray of the original Mille Miglia Red was
applied in 2008. (The '73 model had a one-off exterior design - an
energy absorbing front bumper and traditional chrome bumper rear.)
The black leather interior was nicely restored in 2003 and is in
good condition. Seat covers, door-cards, carpeting and dash-pad are
all well presented. This roadster is equipped with tilt telescopic
wheel and factory AM/FM stereo. Air conditioning was optioned on
the car, but removed. However, the original A/C components are part
of the sale. The manually operated convertible top, frame and rear
window are in good condition as is a GM factory hardtop, also
included in the sale. The 350ci L48 (J-code) small block Chevrolet
motor is rated at 190bhp with a Rochester Quadrajet 4V and GM HEI
electronic ignition. We have been told that the engine is stock and
has not been rebuilt. The 3-speed THM-400 automatic transmission
transfers 300lb/ft of torque to a posi-traction differential. A
solid chassis utilizes power steering and power disc brakes with
4-piston calipers. BFG Radial T/A tires with good tread remaining
are mounted on Corvette rally wheels with rings/centers. This
Corvette C3 roadster is going to make someone a great summer
cruiser - be that you? ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
