Wow, take a look at this beautiful tri-five Chevy that was just
brought in to us and is now available to purchase. This is a
beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible that is ready to hit
the open road. The previous owner actually drove this car to us
from over an hour away. This car is powered by a 1957 283
Turbo-Fire V8 with 220 horsepower which was up significantly over
the 1955 and 1956! The engine is paired with the popular Powerglide
transmission thats performance was much more reliable than the
first offering of the Turboglide. This particular Bel Air also has
a power top and factory AC! The paint is in very nice shape as well
as the interior, the Larkspur Blue is not only an excellent color,
it's the original color and gives the 57 Bel Air vert a great look.
Here are a few codes you may want to know as well:
Stamped engine code is F319FA
F=Flint built (which is correct as the F in the VIN indicates Flint
as well)
319 = built March 19th...and most importantly,
FA = engine code that is a 283 V8 with powerglide transmission AND
AC.
The transmission casting code is 3708134, which is correct for 1957
Chevy powerglide trans.
Make sure you check out the pictures of under the hood and trunk
and you'll see how nice and tidy this car is. If you watch the
video make sure you check out the tasteful custom installation of a
modern stereo! This car does look as good in person as it does in
the pictures and video so buy with confidence. If you looking for a
car that will do well at shows, take to local cruise ins or just
