The mileage is just over 42,750 and the truck has been garage kept for it’s entire life. Originally sold in Illinois, where it remained until late 2018 when I purchased it from the original owner. I drove this truck from Chicago to eastern PA pulling a trailer and it drives superbly and pulls easily. The 454 big block produces plenty of power and runs incredibly smoothly. The 700 4R transmission shifts great, the AC blows ice cold, the brakes appear to be recently done and even the tires are fairly new. About the only thing I found that is not working correctly is the cassette player.
The red velour interior is in immaculate condition. I’m not sure anyone ever sat in the back seat. The truck is equipped to pull a gooseneck trailer. There is a flip-up hitch in the bed. The trailer brake system is out of date and should be updated to pull most modern trailers but it does work. The rubber bed mat is practically brand new, I'm probably the first person to roll it out in the bed. It looks like nothing was ever hauled in the bed.
I had the truck inspected in PA and the mechanic said it is the nicest, cleanest, most rust free truck of this era he has ever seen. I have all the original factory keys, manuals, window sticker and even the original dealer display plates when it was new.
This truck is so nice you can show it or compare the cost of buying a new dually tow vehicle and realize how inexpensive this one could be.
