This 1963 Chevrolet Corvair has been tastefully modified to be an
excellent driver's car or show car! Starting with the drivetrain,
this Corvair is equipped with the 110 horsepower dual carb engine
out of a later 1966 model that has been fitted with an electronic
ignition for added reliability and an electric fuel pump. This
engine paired with the four-speed manual transmission makes this
car a blast to drive! The suspension was all rebuilt and received
some upgrades including lowering spring, sway bars, and a
transverse rear leaf spring to get the ride height correct and
dramatically improve the handling. The white exterior is in
excellent shape despite the last paint job being done nearly 18
years ago still turning heads where ever it goes. The custom
two-bar wheels and an era correct look while adding more style than
most stock options could. On the warm sunny days when you feel like
riding with the top down, there is no need to get out of the car in
this Corvair! The manual top was converted to electric allowing for
easy transitions. The interior of this car underwent a complete
restoration and looks great and is very comfortable to ride around
in. There is also arguably no better color combination than the
white exterior and red interior on a convertible. Other notable
work that was recently done includes: all new brake components,
rebuilt steering gear box, new shocks and springs, new tie rod
ends, pitman arm, new weather seals replaced around trunk, halogen
headlights installed, new fuel lines, and factory front and rear
lap belts added for safety! This 1963 Chevrolet Corvair has had a
lot of time, money, and love put into it and is now time to move on
to the next owner for them to love and enjoy! If you are in the
market for a classic convertible that is both sporty and
convertible you should seriously consider this well built 1963
Chevrolet Corvair. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom.
