crowd look. In late 1967, the second generation of the Volkswagen
Type 2 (T2) was introduced. It was built in Germany until 1979. In
Mexico, the Volkswagen Kombi and Panel were produced from 1970 to
1994. Models before 1971 are often called the T2a (or "Early Bay").
It's 1.6-liter engine has about 1000 miles on it since the rebuild.
The 4-speed manual transmission makes this beautiful bus a pleasure
to drive. This VW went through a frame on restoration, the
undercarriage was painted, and new rubber seas were added to all of
the glass. The rear hatch has been replaced. The wiring and fuse
system are new. Also new is the accelerator cable, no rust brake
pads and upgraded stereo and speakers. It looks and drives great
and right away you'll notice the outstanding amount of room and
space. With room for 7, it's the perfect vehicle to load up the
