Vehicle Description
This 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is from California where it was frame
off restored 2-3 years ago and driven very little since then (Less
than 3,000 miles on the build). They did a wonderful job on this
restoration and it shows. The Frame was blasted and coated when it
was restored and the floors and inside rockers were painted so the
underside would look detailed too. There are lots of new parts
including the leaf springs, brakes, interior, paint, drivetrain
rebuild, etc. The engine compartment was detailed nicely including
painted inner fenders. Looks great!!
The body on this truck is rust free and super straight. The paint
is gorgeous and shines. It was repainted in what appears to be the
original color of Medium Blue. The gaps are excellent and they did
an amazing job. The Hard Top was also repainted and it is
removeable for a full convertible effect. When this Blazer was
disassembled they also took out all of the seats and carpet. It has
new Carpet, new seat covers, new dash pad, new steering wheel, and
a new retro radio (radio needs to be hooked up). There is also a
factory roll bar with this truck.
The drivetrain was removed and rebuilt at the time of the
restoration. The 350V8 Engine runs amazing and the dual exhaust
sounds great!! The transmission was upgraded to a Turbo 400. The 4
Wheel Drive system works great and the transmission shifts
excellent. This rig is ready to hit the road as all of the lights,
blinkers, wipers are working. We did find the horn was not working.
This Blazer runs down the road excellent and they are really nice
to drive. We hand pick each vehicle, drive it, inspect it, and make
sure it is ready for you to enjoy! We drive what we sell so that we
can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle
runs and drives.
