This gorgeous 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 tribute has it all! Power and looks. The rust-free body shows very well, and she will move the earth into fast forward rotation when you put the hammer down! The Orange shows very well. Take a look at the video! Guaranteed to make you buy it.
The interior is very nice, original seats in the rear with the front two upholstered sporting the 442 insignias. Windows go up and down with ease, Stereo works great ( we fixed the loose power wire from the test drive ) Overall the interior is very sorted.
The exterior is easily an 8-10, Paint shows very well. Front fiberglass hood shows minor wear near mounting points. Wheels and tires are in excellent shape. Front and rear bumpers have been professionally re-chromed. The body lines are even from side to side. I do not see any signs of rust and or bondo.
Let’s get to the good stuff! Powered by a 403ci V8 out of a 77 olds pushing 450hp! this big girl moves down the road easily! The transmission has a 2500 stall, feels like a w-30 Olds ( if you have ever driven one you will understand, it feels exhilarating ) The motor will melt tires and get you to your destination quickly. No overheating issues, and no funny sounds. Trans is a Th350 that has been overbuilt and the power is transferred to a positraction rear end. Newer bushings, shocks, ect. The dual exhaust is very throaty and sounds aggressive at idle. Take a look at the video and enjoy!

You might have recognized the car in that commercial as […]

Thanks to Bill McGuire at Mac’s Motor City Garage for tipping us off to the Video of the Day, which shows the 1946 Cadillac Interceptor concept car/prototype undergoing testing at GM’s Milford Proving Grounds in Michigan. There’s no vocal with the 3-minute video, but the images show four cars on the test track, including a […]
The Pick of the Day is a 1964 Dodge Dart GT convertible with a great story. “For sale is my 1964 Dodge Dart GT convertible,” says the car’s private seller in the advertisement on ClassicCars.com. “I bought the car to work on with my daughters. It was a great time, and my kids now have […]
If you remember when Volkswagen introduced its Golf hatchback to the American automotive marketplace, you might not want to admit it. That’s because it was 45 years ago, when the hatchback was badged for U.S. distribution as the Rabbit. Fast forward to 2020 and the Golf is well into its seventh-generation platform update and available […]
Anyone remember the world’s first SRV? That’s SRV as in Sport Recreation Vehicle, which is what Pontiac called its Aztek. “You’ve never seen anything like it before because there’s never been anything like it before,” Pontiac said as it unveiled this new creature for the 2001 model year. “Aztek has been uniquely designed to keep […]
