1932 Ford Cabriolet Highboy Roadster rumble seat convertible
This is a real, "Henry Ford Steel Car ", with some modifications to improve its aesthetics, handling, and performance. "If it ain't real henry steel - it ain't the real deal"!! Car is Pro built!
Engine: 1971 Ford 351 cu. in. Cleveland, bored .030 over with Keith Black Hypertec flat top pistons, rods and crank are o.e. with ARP bolts, Elgin Cam w/ .484/.510 lift, new 2V valves w/ Elgin springs. Block is decked to square up and heads checked and cut for 9.4 compression ratio.
Trans: 1980 Ford AOD with modified tail shaft and valve body. Has Transco high performance shift kit and torque converter w/o lock-up feature.
Frame: American Stamping 1932 rails w/Chassis Eng. X-member and brake mech.
Custom center cross member. Front & rear stainless spreader bars.
Rear End: 1973 Jaguar XJ-6 narrowed 4" w/ TCI coil overs and Kugel components. Gear ratio is 3:54. Jag brakes and working parking brake.
Front End: Custom made independent suspension w/ 86 Camaro rotors and calipers. Also Omni rack and pinion and Vega joints, and TCI coil overs
Interior: Custom red leather seats / interior with red wool carpet to complete the package.
Body: 1932 Ford body w/ modified windshield posts and cowl, vacuum operated cowl door, doors lengthened 5" for us small guys, 3" extended Rootieb 4 pc hood w/ 25 o.e. style louvers, bear claw latches and hidden hinges, original firewall w/ reshaped foot board, dash widened 2" vertically for A/C. ducts and the custom So-Cal Speed Shop Instrument Panel.
Other: Vintage air/heat, Specialty power windows, tilt wheel, cruise control, seat belts, 10 Disc remote CD player and stereo system, Carson top, with electric wipers, Billet Spec wheels, 14X6 frt. & 15X10 rr w/ T/A's, column shift & column modified for the AOD trans. shift pattern. Aluminized exhaust w/ Flowmasters, battery shut-off swift and more.
