you back to a time when the family would pile into a vehicle for
summer or winter vacation. No, not into the station wagon but into
the conversion van! MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present
this 1991 Chevrolet G20 -ton Gladiator Conversion Van. It has had
exactly one loving owner for the past 27 years and it really shows!
The van is still on the original title showing 68 miles at the time
of purchase and always has been garaged. The van today still
appears showroom new! We also have to mention, that the rear power
rear sofa bed is one of the neatest power features that we have
seen in a car for a very long time! This van left the Lordstown,
Ohio factory as an incomplete multipurpose vehicle in September
1990 and it had a pre-delivery inspection on September 27, 1990
before transported to Glaval Corporation in the Elkhart/Mishawaka,
Indiana area to finish the conversion process. The fully converted
van was then delivered to Bell Chevrolet-Geo-Pontiac-Oldsmobile.
Finished in a Burgundy Metallic with accent stripes, the van's
paint and trim are in overall excellent condition. This van's
bodywork is solid and straight, the engine bay is quite tidy, the
battery appears new and the chrome bumpers look sharp. This 27 year
old van is a true time piece of days gone by! It is being sold on
an actual mileage title, currently showing 48,542 on the odometer.
This van wears white letter radials, size 225/75R15 at all four
corners. Each tire is mounted to a factory alloy wheel. The tires
are in very good condition while the wheels are in satisfactory
order. Under the hood is GM's ubiquitous 350 CID V-8 engine (L05)
with electronic fuel injection. Backing this motor are a Turbo
Hydramatic 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive
(MX0) and a 3.42:1 rear differential. Driver convenience features
are plentiful - air-conditioning, cruise control, tilt steering
column, tinted glass, intermittent wipers, power steering, power
brakes with rear wheel anti-lock, power locks and power front
windows. Inside, the van has a Glaval Garnet, Gray and Oak interior
with four power captain's chairs and a rear bench seat that
converts into a sofa bed. The seats are in excellent order and very
comfortable for those long trips to see grandparents or
grandchildren. The carpet and headliner mirror the seats' condition
and there are reading lamps. The four-spoke steering wheel is in
very good order as are the inner door panels and wood-accented
dashboard. Glaval also provided a Vac-Pac, a small vacuum cleaner
and kit that fits within one of the rear side doors when not
removing skittles, trail mix, glitter or other unwanted souvenirs
from the carpet and seats. The center console looks great and ready
sunglasses, phones, tablets and Big Gulps and other oversized
beverage cup storage. Entertainment options include an Audiovox
eight-inch television, a VCR (remember those?) and an AM/FM stereo
with cassette deck for those in the back, Completing the interior
is a factory Delco-Bose AM/FM stereo with cassette up front. The
G20's low cost of upkeep, size, and options have made this van
popular with all different kinds of trades, from plumbers to
caterers. Competitors included similar conversion vans from Ford's
E-250 and Dodge's Ram vans. Documentation includes original owner's
manual and window sticker. If you're looking to return to the days
of easy, all-day cruising with your brood and want to do it in
classic, yet low-mileage style, you could hardly go wrong by
visiting MotoeXotica Classic Cars today and giving this Chevy
conversion van a once-over. VIN: 1GBEG25K1M7106241 This van is
