Vehicle Description
The C10 has become incredibly popular in recent years. With most of
the attention being paid to the 1967-72 models, the older versions
have reaped the benefit by becoming more of a cult classic. The
front ends are tough looking and you can stuff just about anything
you want under the hood.
Why This Car Is Special
Purple paint, modern amenities and a sound that will make your
neighbors want to peek over the fence every time you fire it up
make this truck stand out from the pack.
Mechanical
The engine is none other than a Corvette 350 that has had more
power massaged out of it with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
topped with a Quick Fuel Technologies 4-barrel carburetor bolted on
top. Satin Black Edelbrock air cleaner and valve covers dress up
the engine nicely, as does the chrome alternator. Dual exhaust
running to Flowmaster mufflers provide this 350 with the muscle car
sound it deserves. The power is routed through a Turbo 350
automatic transmission and sent out back to a 12-bolt rear end.
Interior
Modern black bucket seats are accompanied by seat belts and a new
Dual AM/FM/CD player in the dash. A temperature gauge has been
added under the dash to keep an eye on the engine and a GT steering
wheel accents the modern seats nicely. The door panels are bedlined
purple which looks great and can handle any abuse you might throw
at them.
Exterior
This Custom Deluxe has appeal to spare. The deep purple paint is
accented with the stainless Custom Deluxe trim and chrome wheels
with raised white letter radial tires. Dual exhaust tips exit
behind the rear tires. The bed is wood with purple bedliner to
protect the sides. This C10 has the chrome bumpers and chrome grill
to really set it off and they are in great shape.
Conclusion
This classic truck is ready for a new owner. It can cruise, show or
be used like a truck was made to be used.
