1963 Pontiac StarChief 4Dr Sedan / An Amazing Forgotten Classic! Welcome to the world of the big Pontiac cruiser. This beautiful StarChief 4 door Sedan has been very well taken care of throughout its life. Especially over the past 4 years where its latest owner invested over $10,000 in repairing every feature needing attention in bringing it back to life. Lets start with whats New. Everything! Yes, just about every key component on this classic is new or rebuilt by the last owner over the past 4 years. Key components include a new R134a AC compressor and system. Air Conditioning is Ice Cold. The heating system has also been replaced which includes a new heater core, thermostat and new hoses so this car is ready for Summer and Winter driving. The front end is completely new! Every bit of it so rattling, bouncing and pulling is not an issue. Shocks are also new front and back. New front end, new shocks front and back.... Adjustments were made to the upper portion of the engine but no rebuild was necessary and no major work was needed in this area. We believe the engine had been rebuilt prior to the last owner taking ownership. The Transmission is new at a cost of over $3100 back in 2015. The 5 year warranty is still in effect but there are NO issues. The drum brakes are new and stop as they should. Tires are close to new. There is a second set of hubcaps in the trunk. Repair work was done to all interior features including the wiper motor and pump, all interior and exterior lighting, the horn and even the clock works. The original radio is still in the dash but does not work but an aftermarket newer system is in the glove box with rear speakers that are easily removable. The antenna is new. The front bench seat slides easily. The left hand mirror control works as it should. All windows roll up & down easily and they are all the original windows. All gauges and the speedometer work perfectly. Even the speed alert system is working. Aftermarket gauges were installed under the dash for increased engine monitoring over the standard dummy lights. Seat belts were added for safety. A complete tuneup was recently done. All new fluids were changed, (no leaks), new hoses, wires, new battery, new alternator and a chassis lube was done. The original radiator was re-cored. She runs cool all day in any kind of weather. Prior to the last owner purchasing this car, the interior seating front and back, the carpet and headliner was completely redone and looks like new. Receipts are included for everything listed above... This StarChief had been repainted in its original Pontiac color of Yuma Beige years ago and it still looks great today. The body is in excellent condition and the paint still shines beautifully. All chrome and trim pieces are in great shape with no pitting at all. The power comes from its original optional 389ci 303hp 4 barrel. It starts right up, runs perfectly and can easily keep up with today's traffic. This is alot of car for not alot of money.
