For Sale: 1983 Honda Civic in Seekonk, Massachusetts

Vehicle Description

Showcasing a museum quality 1983 Honda Civic 1300 Hatchback w/ 14,275 original miles.  This car could be the best known original example of a second generation Honda Civic in the world. The Honda Civic (second generation) debuted in June 1979 with a more angular shape, increased engine power, and larger dimensions in all models. The design was closer aligned to its larger sister, the Accord and the car was generally more comfortable and sophisticated than the first generation Honda Civic.  They were produced from 1979 to 1983.  This car was built in Suzuka, Japan as the VIN number indicates.  This car was sold new in Muncie, IN where it spent its life until 2018.  This is documented on the clean Car Fax report which is included.  The original owner’s manuals and dealership key tag is also included.  From the information gathered it belonged to an older woman who used it sparingly.  When she passed the family took ownership.  This car has always been garaged and treated very well.  This car is original and in showroom condition. The body has no rust and the Ivory paint looks beautiful. The paint was tested for originally on every panel with an electric paint meter and passed with flying colors.  All of the glass and exterior appointments are in excellent condition.  The tan interior is like new and everything is in working order.  The trunk compartment is also like new and home to the spare tire with tools.  The original engine compartment is very detailed with no signs of oxidation or deterioration. The engine is a 1.3L 4cyl that runs amazing.  The engine is coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission.  The undercarriage is very clean throughout.  All of the factory stickers and factory markings are still in place throughout the car.  It’s hard to believe this car is 35 years old.  It’s near impossible to find Japanese in good overall condition let alone a show room condition one with low miles like this one.  This car is a true time capsule that will make a great addition to any collection.

MS CLASSIC CARS takes a lot of pride in servicing every vehicle which we document with an invoice that is pictured in our photos.  Regarding the service of this car we’ve scheduled to have it done by our local Honda dealership.  We’re having a tune up completed along with a timing belt replacement and new battery. Once this service is completed the invoices will be added to the photos.  MS CLASSIC CARS also invested $600.00 in detailing the vehicle from top to bottom.

Your challenge

I have over 20 years of experience and follow the classic vehicle market on a daily basis.  I’m experienced with most years, makes and models.  Obviously I’m more experienced with certain vehicles but follow them all.  I price my classic vehicles competitive based on the current market values.  I would challenge anyone to find a comparable vehicle for less.  Please make sure your comparing the vehicles history, recent documented service work, all options and the entire vehicles overall condition from top to bottom.  If you’re truly interested in purchasing this vehicle and you have a comparable vehicle that’s priced less please call me to discuss further.  I’m confident that my vehicle will be the better choice.  If I’m wrong I’ll tell you the other vehicle is a better choice and point you in that direction.

“As my website indicates I’ve collected and sold hundreds of beautiful classic vehicles over the years.  I’m proud to say MS CLASSIC CARS holds over 25 world record sale prices.  We’ve also sold many classic vehicles in the six figure plus price range.  The point being is that I’m a good judge of character when it comes time to describe a classic vehicle.  MS CLASSIC CARS collect beautiful classic vehicles that we service and detail.  We document this work with an invoice that is pictured in the photos.  The vehicle you’re about to witness is something I’m proud of.  If you’ve been searching for something like this vehicle I would suggest moving forward with investigating it further.  Please give me a phone call and I’ll go over the entire vehicle with you over the phone.  I will tell you everything I know about it.  I’m the owner and can make all the decisions regarding the price, etc.  There will be no pressure.  My goal is to make sure the vehicle is the right fit for you.  If you decide to purchase it I’ll make the transaction transparent and simple.  I’ll assist you in the financing if necessary.  I’ll also assist you with the shipping.  It’s that easy.  MS CLASSIC CARS isn’t just another dealer.  MS CLASSIC CARS is a brand.”
