We recently purchased this Javelin from the previous older local Idaho owner who bought it BRAND NEW and as you can tell in the pictures and video it has been his pride and joy for sure !! It still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - dash mounted AMC VIN tag - FACTORY ORIGINAL - trunk lid mounted jacking instruction sticker - ORIGINAL - 1973 AMC owner's manual - ORIGINAL - 1973 AMC consumer information booklet and it's - ORIGINAL - AMC new car window sticker, all of which are shown in several pictures. This has been a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western car it's whole life and it shows !! I drove this Javelin as my daily driver for the last several days and I assure it runs and drives VERY WELL !! At the heart of this Javelin is what appears to be the VERY STRONG !! - FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "H" - 304 CID V8 motor that is running VERY well. The motor also sports the ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL carburetor and the ORIGINAL air cleaner housing. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style exhaust system with chrome tip. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH !! - Three speed - "Torque-Command" - automatic transmission that also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! - MOSTLY ALL FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "341" - Black with Faux' Wood Grain accents Javelin interior is in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black full front bucket seats, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Black Vinyl and Faux Wood Grain accented door panels, VERY NICE NEW Black carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Javelin steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters, NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl center console, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl sun visors, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black rear seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl headliner and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS !! The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the AWESOME !! - FACTORY ORIGINAL - AMC stainless steel wheel covers and BRAND NEW whitewall steel belted radial tires, boy do they look OUTSTANDING on this Javelin and really give it that CLEAN - "FACTORY ORIGINAL" - look !! All of the ORIGINAL chrome and stainless steel exterior body trim and moldings are in NICE condition including NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers. The CLEAN - SOLID trunk also sports a BRAND NEW full size whitewall radial spare tire. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are also clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL !! I looked underneath and also included photos, again this has been a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Idaho High Mountain Desert - western vehicle since NEW and it shows !!
