Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 1972 Buick Riviera
"Boattail". This model of Riviera was only available from '71-'73
landing this right in the middle. This beauty is hard to be
mistaken for any other classics and features a very similar rear
window to the C2 Corvette. This mafia looking monster is powered by
what's believed to be the original 455 CID V8 and paired up to a
3-speed automatic transmission. The transmission had all new seals
installed back in September of 2017 to include the front pump seal,
shaft seal, speedo seal, all exterior seals, trans filter and a pan
gasket. This beauty came from the factory with the dual exhaust and
makes for a great driver. After going through an extensive
restoration roughly 10 years ago, this car is still in good
condition. Some of the restoration work includes a new steering
box, new 4 row radiator, A/C compressor, new brakes, new master
cylinder, and even a repaint done by Rosehill Paint and Body. To
ensure a stable ride, the pitman arms, tie rod ends, and bearing
were also replaced. The car has plenty of documentation and
receipts giving the new owner plenty of history with it. In all,
the receipts alone total out to around $20,000 showing this car has
been well cared for through the years. Walking around the car you
will find it's in good driver condition. The car was originally
painted green from the factory, but the black really gives the car
an aggressive look to it. All the chrome trimming is in good
condition as well. This classic has some nice curves to it and has
great potential. With already a limited number of years in this
body style, these are only going to become rarer as time goes on.
The interior of the car is in good condition with no major rips or
tears. This classic Riviera features all the comforts of your
modern vehicles such as power windows, power seats, cold blowing
A/C, and power locks. Other options include power steering, power
brakes, AM/FM stereo, and functioning clock. For more information
