Vehicle Description
First place International Mercury Club and many other show awards.
Mercury was the car of choice to chop - lower and produce the
infamous "Barris" lead sled. James Dean made the 1950 an icon in
"Rebel without a cause". Some say the 1951 to be a bit more
desirable with the longer lower sleek appearance. This car is a 3
owner from believed a rust free Oklahoma car. It enjoyed a
professional complete and total nut and bolt restoration frame off
with each part separately cleaned, inspected and painted. Body is
laser straight clad in Monsoon Maroon. Chrome triple plate show,
all chrome redone. Interior correct medium brown with Wilton
carpets, Ford script glass, skirts and all new loom. Engine
completely rebuilt, rebuilt pressure plate, new clutch, NOS
radiator, all new seals, new brakes, master cylinder and more. Runs
and drives smooth with that distinctive rumble of the dual exhaust.
Truly a beautiful show work of art. Youtube video available upon
