The motor in this Lotus is an Isuzu sourced 1,588cc turbocharged
inline 4 cylinder. This motor was extensively modified by Lotus.
Some of the modifications to the engine include a new exhaust
system, rerouted intake plumbing, improved engine suspension, and
modifications to the engine control unit to improve torque and
boost response. Within the last 2 years a lot of work, time, and
money has gone into making this Lotus the beautiful car it is
