Vehicle Description
This 1965 Buick Sport Wagon is a rare find and very cool!! This car
came from Louisiana from a collector who owns around 100 cars that
are all survivor vehicles that are clean. All of his cars are solid
and good drivers and that is exactly what this car is. A cool side
note is that this car was used in the movie "ICEMAN". We do have a
form that confirms this. This car does appear to have an older
repaint, so it is not original paint, but the panels are all
straight and solid and the underside is too. Besides the old
repaint the outside of the car is all original from what we can
tell. This is an older repaint so you should expect some paint
chips and the some patina on the paint. This would make a fun and
unique driver for someone, or an excellent candidate for a complete
restoration. The interior is in very good condition for its age.
The seats are in great condition and may have been recovered at
some point, the carpet is in good condition and so is the dash. The
Steering Wheel is original and shows some age. All in all the
interior is very presentable and clean.
This Wagon comes with it's original 301 V8 Engine that was rebuilt
around 20,000 miles ago. It runs great and has very good power. The
Power-glide Automatic Transmission shifts just like it should. This
car is so much fun to drive and is a smooth cruiser. The brakes
were all recently redone and it stops in a hurry. This is a
wonderful driving Sport Wagon and all of the lights, blinkers,
wipers, heat, gauges, everything is working like it should. We hand
pick each vehicle, drive it, inspect it, and make sure it is ready
for you to enjoy! We drive what we sell so that we can give you a
first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs and
drives.
