Vehicle Description
1932 Ford Roadster
Looking for a super sharp street rod that you can parade down Main
Street and park at local cruise nights? How about a cool piece of
Americana that'll turn heads anywhere it goes? If you're in the
market for a great cruiser that's stylish, powerful and has lots of
history, who says you have to buy a stuffy, high maintenance
trailer queen?
A ground up build, custom all the way, this pop top roadster,
screams of the days when street racing decided who was king, and
the drive-in was THE place to be. Crate motored, dripping with
chrome, nostalgia, and Porsche red. Check out the details, and
grease up your hair for this beauty.
Exterior
Custom graphics on the hood, rear, and frame rail swoop overtop of
the immaculate Porsche Red 2-stage paint on the resin Westcott repo
body, that is perched atop a Pete and Jakes quality street rod
chassis. A chopped removable drop top by SD Chavers in superior
condition covers the passenger compartment. Chrome, chrome, chrome,
from the Superbell drop I beam front axle, to the 4-bar leaf
spring, shocks, and rack and pinion steering. The rear suspension
shows just as proudly with chrome coil over shocks and springs and
a chrome four bar. American racing 5 spokes are adorning all fours
and are wrapped with virtually new 195x70-R14's in the front, and
31 x 10.5-R15's in the rear.
Interior
A black bench in vinyl with folding seat cushion, and backrest
stretches from door to door. Door panels are in black as well and
include a pocket for storage. A matching Porsche Red metal dash
stretches the interior width as well and shows a cluster of chrome
bezel VDO gauges. A chromed steering column adjusts to any driver's
physique.
Drivetrain
The 350ci crate motor breathes through an Edelbrock carb and
aluminum intake manifold. Seen is a chrome dress up kit has been
added to give extra bling to the valve covers, oil pan, starter,
air cleaner, and engine mounts. Exhaling is done through Sanderson
coated street rod headers, and Flowmaster exhaust. Strapped to the
rear of the mill is a 350 Speedway Turbo Transmission, which puts
power to a 9-inch Ford rear. Front discs and rear drums are seen,
and a note the underside is as beautiful as the topside.
The drive-in harkens, the drag strip beckons, and the gals are
swooning when you pull up in this awesome rod. Cuff your jeans,
roll a pack of cigarettes into your T-shirt sleeve, and put your
foot to the floor...1, 2, 3, o'clock ...4 o'clock rock!
