This is an original unrestored 1962 Starfire Convertible from California with a 394 cubic inch engine with 345HP. Car is solid, runs and rides very well. Perfect for a restoration. Engine was totally rebuilt at about 155K miles. Engine displacement probably about 400CI now because the engine was bored out .030 of an inch with oversized pistons now. The crankshaft journals were machined .010 of an inch under and over sized bearings were installed. It has the original Slim Jim, Roto 10, hydromatic transmission completely rebuilt a few years ago and with about 4000 miles on it now. Three other modifications are: Electric fuel pump (think I have original), Aluminum radiator (have original which has been recored), two engine fans installed to prevent overheating as car was used in California and Nevada. A number of repairs done in the past two years including installing new convertible top motor. I have many original spare parts and car repair history. Known issues: front seats in poor condition, fiberglass resin used to fill in some rust areas on body, 2 rust spots (not easily visible) on lower passenger side door and frame, steering gear box leaks and needs to be rebuilt (I have 2 gear boxes), leak from front engine timing chain cover and pulling to left when braking.
