A friend down in Sierra Vista in Southern Arizona parked this -61 Fleetwood decades ago as a "perfect car" and over the years the brutal Arizona sun killed (okay, dried up then) the interior and the paint got damaged from the heat also.
The body is excellent and the chrome is very good to fantastic.
We have owned the Cadillac for a few years and we have gone through it and made it running and driving again after the long storage.
We rebuilt the carburetor, brakes, removed the fuel tank and cleaned it, installed new tires.
I love 1961 Cadillac's, my favorite year after 1941 and the Fleetwood was meant to be keeper but, the shop is packed with cars (45 at last count) and we never seem to have time to give this beautiful car a well deserved paint job and a new interior so we'll put her up for sale instead.
You can drive and use the car as is, you'll need Mexican blankets or something like it over the dry seats or take the car to the next level and paint it and put a new interior in her.
