71 Plymouth Satellite Custom 6 passenger station wagon. 383 2-bbl, 727 automatic, 8.75 rear end with unknown highway gears, power drum brakes, factory A/C, manual steering. Freshly re-covered front high back split bench seat with center fold down arm rest, full blown Plymouth rallye instrument cluster. Has had minor rust repair behind rear wheels, but floors and all frames are strong. Still wearing its original GY9 Dark Gold Metallic paint, very nice above average black interior with no rips or cracks. Original engine is in great shape, trans has less than 500 miles on total rebuild. The drum brakes will practically throw you through the windshield if you are not careful. NOS exterior lenses need nothing and work. All the stainless and trim is in good shape and all there. It is the economical version of the mid-sized Plymouth wagons, so it did not get a roof rack, back seat or electric rear window. Back glass rolls up and down fine, and the dual function rear gate works fine.
This is a fun family cruiser with lots of potential. Will need front suspension work in the near future but can be driven the way it is for a while.
