New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive1965 AC
Cobra Replica Backdraft 2 Door Roadster with Monterey Red exterior
paint, Pearl White racing stripes and a tan leather interior.
You'll find a 400 horsepower, 302 cid V-8 engine (bored out to
306), a Worldcass T5 5-speed manual transmission, 4-wheel disc
brakes, a BMW rear end, 18" knock off wheels and so much more. This
track ready roadster is in fantastic condition as well and it needs
nothing to be enjoyed immediately. It's been driven a mere 8,689
lifetime miles.
Built by Highly Reputable Backdraft Racing in 2013
The current owner informs us that this replica 1965 AC Cobra
Roadster was built by Backdraft Racing in Boca Raton, Florida. If
you're unfamiliar with the brand, it was founded by champion auto
racers Tony Marten and Reg Dodd to create truly legendary, street
legal supercars that are track ready from day one. This particular
example was built back in 2013 with an estimated 400 horsepower and
a full build sheet on file, so there's no guessing to the quality
of authenticity. Out on the open road, this little roadster screams
to life with world-class acceleration and handling. There are few
sports cars within this price range that can compare.
Additionally, this 1965 AC Cobra Backdraft Roadster is in
tremendous condition throughout with excellent paint and
unblemished body lines. While there are a few minor imperfections
from being driven 8,600 miles over the past five years, this muscle
