Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this gold 1964 Pontiac
Catalina 2 DR HT. In 1964, Pontiac offered the Catalina as a
mid-priced alternative to the other GM models, making the Catalina
the highest production Pontiac model in 1964. This car is finished
in Singapore Gold with a Cameo Cream painted top. The outer body
was refinished approximately 10 years ago, the interior resembles
the correct Saddle tan vinyl bench seat and is in excellent
condition. Power is supplied by the 389 2 BBL V8 with 267HP and
shifted through a GM Roto-Hydramatic 3 speed automatic
transmission. Both the engine and transmission are reported to be
original to the car, which is showing 91,000 miles. The options on
this car reflect what most buyers in 1964 wanted on their cars:
power steering, power brakes, day/night mirror and a 'new' safety
innovation, seat belts. The radio has been upgraded to an AM/FM
cassette in dash radio. The wheels and tires have been updating
with later model Pontiac Rally II wheels with trim rings and
whitewall radial tires. Under dash gauges and a column mounted tach
keep track of what's happening under the hood. This 1964 Pontiac
Catalina is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic
