The Shelby GT350R is the most sophisticated, track focused, and

beast is a 5.2L V-8 featuring a flat plane crankshaft and variable
valve timing and making 529HP at a screaming 8,250RPM. This gem of
an engine is the most powerful naturally aspirated road going V-8

heavy duty Tremec 6-speed manual transmission with short throws and
a light clutch pedal. The chassis is just as technical as the
engine is with four wheel independent suspension and "Magne-Ride"
magnetically adjustable dampers. Brakes are by Brembo with six
piston front and four piston rear calipers acting on two piece
rotors. The wheels on this "R" model are the world's first
production carbon fiber wheels and are wrapped in super sticky
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. On the inside, manual suede
covered Recaro buckets with thick bolsters keep you firmly in place
