Vehicle Description
PLEASE CALL 715-709-0343 IF INTERESTED IN MORE DETAILS. The top of
the line Oldsmobile in 1960 was the 98, offering every standard
feature in the Olds lineup, plus a few more like an electric clock,
power steering and brakes, and the attractively named Jetaway
Hydra-Matic Drive. Power was provided by a 394-cid Rocket V-8 at
315 hp and a whopping 435 lb-ft of torque. Like other cars, the
rakish tail fins were flattened out to the sides, and the Olds 98
convertible was selected as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500
in 1960. Here is the perfect classic car for the family looking to
get into the hobby without having to break the bank - a nice
running and driving sedan with plenty of room for the kids, yet
plenty of power under the hood. Featuring a repaint of the original
(soft yellow) Citron under the original (green) Palmetto Mist
Metallic, this car is quite the eye catcher. Solid South Dakota
car, with registration slips dating back to the early 60's included
with the car. Original green cloth interior shows a little wear on
the armrests, but otherwise is very presentable, clean, and
comfortable. The wide white Coker Classic tires are like new, and
this car cruises down the highway smoothly. Don't miss your chance
to own this nice 98 - you just don't see many of these at the
cruise nights or local shows, but now you can.
