This is a barn find car. This car sat inside a Solana Beach California garage for over twenty years. The car was bought in 1962 from the original owner and used for the second owners' honeymoon. Afterwards it was driven occasionally until they just let it sit inside their garage. The car was repainted before the second owners bought it, and it was changed to its current color combo. The car decodes to a coral exterior and black interior combo. Who ever painted this car did it right because there is little to no sign of the original color. The paint is very good for its age and from twenty feet it's fantastic. But up close you can see it's getting old. The bumpers will need to be re-chromed also. We did replace the door panels and carpet. It also has a classic audio radio that sounds good. The brakes, tires, battery, voltage regulator, spark plugs, points, condenser, cap and wires were replaced. The gas tank was cleaned, carb rebuilt and the generator was also rebuilt. The car runs and drives nicely, but like all cars that have sat a long time she needs to be driven. This is a classic baby bird that you can afford to drive and enjoy.
