Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this show stopping 1956
Ford F100. This truck has gone through a complete overall and ready
for it's next car show, and fully capable of taking home the
trophies. As you will notice the rear of this truck shows "Trophy
Hunter" which adds some nice appeal, but for those not favoring it,
this can be easily removed if you would like. Powering the beauty
is a 302 CID V8 that's been paired to a 4-speed automatic
transmission. The truck was built by "Hill's Hot Rods" out of
Lubbock, TX back in 2011 but took over 4 years and claimed to more
than $200,000 into the build. The truck also features Doug's
headers, Edlebrock carburetor, and an aluminum Be Cool radiator to
ensure proper cooling of the strong running engine. The truck rides
smooth with upgraded suspension to include tubular upper and lower
control arms, adjustable coil over shocks in the rear, and Bilstein
shocks in the front. To give the truck some nice flare, the valve
covers, and air cleaner were sprayed in a very nice bronze color.
The truck has a very sleek paint job with a 2-tone color combo. The
lower layer is a soft cream color that is topped off with a maroon
that looks almost like a root beer when shining in the sunlight.
This color combo is not seen often and is certainly a head turner.
If you are looking for a truck that will let you stand out in a
crowd, then this is the one for you. Winning numerous awards
through the years to include taking 12th place at Good Guys back in
2011. The truck sits on a nice set of Bonspeed wheels 18" in the
front and 20" in the rear. Behind the wheels are SSBC brakes
mounted to slotted rotors on all 4 wheels to provide plenty of
stopping power. The interior of this truck is far from original and
done in a nice lighter brown color. In the center of each section
is a nice darker brown edsel material then surrounded but leather
and gives the truck some flare. The interior flows well with the
other colors throughout the exterior of the truck and is truly show
quality. The panels, and headliner have been customized as well to
keep uniformity throughout the vehicle. With the options of tilt
wheel, A/C, power steering, power brakes, and door poppers this
truck is ready for a show. For more information on this 1956 Ford
