Built in the early 1980's and shown around the nation with the
International Show Car Association from 1983-1985, this wild 1977
Ford F-150 is finally going up for sale! Back in 1983, this truck
was first revealed to the public and took home nearly every award
it could for the next two years including 27 first place awards, 6
best truck awards, 2 best of show awards, and People's Choice Award
at the Car Craft nationals in Pomona, CA. Anyone who was in the
truck scene back in the 80's will surely recognize this truck.
Under the hood sits a chromed out 351 cubic inch V8 with a BDS
supercharger sitting prominently at the top. Connected behind that
is the C6 automatic transmission built for the power and is run
back to the rear end equipped with 4.11:1 gears helping to spin the
massive mud tires. Allowing the 40" tall tires to clear the fenders
is an 8" lift and all components chrome plated or polished. The
paint is a custom pearl acrylic lacquer with pearl ghost flames
that really pop in direct sunlight. After being shown for a couple
years this truck was shown locally around the Colorado area and
stored indoors. The interior is a set of captains chairs that
swivel allowing for easy entrance and exit and enough gauges and
switches in the console to rival a 747. Roll up the cover on the
bed and you will find a completely carpeted bed with vinyl
upholstery on the sides. Up front a stereo was installed with a dry
bar and a cooler built in creating what could be the ultimate
tailgating rig! This truck is extremely cool and has an awesome
history to back. If you are looking for a cool piece of automotive
history that will turn heads everywhere it goes and is a blast to
drive, it doesn't get much better than this 1977 Ford F-150! This
vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1977
