1966 Shelby GT350H based on the 1966 GT350 featured a Cobra 289
High Performance V8 engine outputting 306 hp and 329 lb-ft of
torque.� Other special features include functional fiberglass
scoops used to cool the rear brakes a red white and blue cobra gas
cap featuring the Shelby emblem a tachometer mounted on the dash
and Plexiglas rear quarter windows. In all only 1001 of these
fastbacks were built for Hertz in 1966. Over the years the 1966
Shelby GT350H Mustang has become highly sought after by collectors.
Years later the ones that are left are extremely valuable and
easily net $150000 or more in auctions each year. In fact those
lucky enough to own one own a coveted piece of Mustang history.
Shelby massaged the 289-cube V8 to pull in 306 horses but the
fruits of the Paxton blowers on the GT350s�equated to a jump to
around 390 horsepower with proper tuning as much as 450-hp.� With
zero to 60 launches in the mid 5s and a top speed of 150-mph. This

Shelby survivor. It is in the SAAC Shelby�Registry as car #1552. It
is euipped with the rare Paxton Supercharger�option with correct
date code of February 7th 1966 and is listed in the�SAAC.�Finished
in its correct Raven Black and Gold Stripes the car's paint
and�trim are in overall very good condition but there are some
minor blemishes�visible upon close inspection. It was repainted
once but only a professional�can tell.�This car has the original
Shelby Cobra Cragar chrome mag 500 wheels. Thefiberglass hood with
the original fasteners is solid and straight and the�bumpers are in
very good condition. This car has the original Shelby tachseat
belts wood grain steering wheel and Paxton supercharger gauges.�The
car has all its original sheet metal and retains the factory
underfloorpaint in amazing shape. Under the fiberglass hood is the
correct high�performance 289 K code engine. The engine is making
some serious power withthe installed original 1965-1968 Shelby
GT-350 Paxton supercharger kit with�a Holley 650 double pumper. The
original carburetor and air cleaner stayed�with the car all those
