1970 Hemi Cuda, Deep Burnt Orange, that has survived the years. It is mostly in its original condition with the exception of a newer paint job and new carpeting. This ‘Cuda has most of its original components including body parts, glass, interior and more. It is a numbers matching car with the exception of the motor, and that is a warranty motor. The A727 Torqueflite transmission and the 8 3/4” rear end are both the numbers matching original components. This is a great running car that has been in my possession for ten plus years.
The car has been registered with “Galen’s Registry” and has also been authenticated and appraised by Julius Steuer of “Restorations by Julius” a restoration facility of classic Mopars.
I have some history for this Cuda from talking to the second private party that was in possession of it for roughly thirty years. This individual owns and operates Tri State Raceway in Earlville IA. According to him the car was originally sold in San Antonio Texas to a local Snap-On dealer. The car was then traded in and ended up in Iowa at a local dealer, where he purchased it on Sept. 2, 1975 and kept it for 30 years. The Cuda at that time had 37100 miles, when he sold the car it had 44451. It appears and confirmed by him that car went to a N. Dakota classic car broker, it then went to a S. Carolina classic car dealer who then sold it to the private party I purchased it from in 2007.
