Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this Survivor 1977 Factory 4 Speed Z28 which still retains its original numbers matching 350 engine and 4 speed manual transmission with low "Actual" miles of 50,993.  This fully  documented Z28 was the king of the mountain for 1977 Chevy performance and is nearly completely original with just some wear items replaced.  The included build sheet and numerous other dealer documents fully authenticate this special Z28 as being legit and the real deal.  This Z28 had a very long term original owner of over 39 years and was stored and preserved for many years prior to it mechanical refurbishment in 2015.  This Z28 features all original paint and original decals, door edge guards, and body moldings, an original fantastic Black vinyl interior, the original factory drive line, and the factory build sheet.  This Z28 has no visible rust anywhere and is very solid with great lines and gaps.  The underside was fully rust proofed when new and is very solid and rust free.  There are no rust concerns anywhere on the frame, floors, rockers, or trunk.  This Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Light Red (code 75) over Black (code 19R) vinyl interior.  This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above and included Build Sheet.  These special low production 4 Speed Z28's are some of the most sought after collectible Camaros on the market.  They continue to increase in value and desirability.

Exterior

The Light Red exterior is in nice original condition.  This Z28 features all original sheet metal with no patches or repairs and all original paint in factory Light Red with all original decals and moldings.  The paint is in good  condition for being 41 years old with no signs of visible rust anywhere on the body or underneath and both bumpers are in great shape with no flaking paint.  The paint has a nice shine and good gloss and is smooth to the touch but does has expected patina being original paint and 41 years old.  This Z28 was heavily coated with dealer installed rust proofing by Ziebart which did a great job in protecting this car from harsh elements and environments.  See the photo of the Ziebart decal in the gallery and the numerous yellow rust proofing plugs around the car and undercoating on numerous surfaces.  There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos.  There are several color matched rock chip touch ups around the car. The BF Goodrich tires are newer with nearly full tread left are sized 225/60/15 and the factory wheels are OEM originals and are in good original condition and not restored.   All weather stripping and window sweeps are original and in great condition.  Trunk is very solid and clean with the original space saver spare tire and jack, with a the original correct trunk mat and the original tire inflator bottle.

Interior

The Black vinyl interior of this Z28 is original and in great overall condition.  The original seat covers are in great condition with no excessive wear or rips.  These are not replacements but factory original vinyl covers.  The carpet is original with no major stains, rips, or holes.  The original dash is in good condition with no cracks or fading but does have some typical warping as most of these era cars have.  The dash bezel is original and in good condition.  The original am/fm stereo works and sounds good.  The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact.  The headliner and package tray are both originals and in good shape.  All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should including the cigarette lighter.  The horn, stereo, wipers, and blower motor on all speeds works.  The warning buzzers and lights all work and so does the blinker indicator lights.  Everything works on this car outside of the clock.  Reverse lock out linkage is still in place from the factory and the car must be in reverse to remove the keys.  This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Z28 is in excellent mechanical condition with low miles of 50,993.  Most importantly the original 350 engine and original 4 speed manual transmission are still in the car with matching numbers.  I have driven this car numerous times and it drives incredibly well and gets a lot of attention while cruising around rowing through the gears.  It does everything the way its intended to per factory design and has no noticeable rattles or squeaks or odd noises.  I have full confidence in the car and its a true pleasure to drive and it handles extremely well being a factory F41 car. This Z28 was given a full mechanical refurbishment in 10/2015 at the cost of over $5600 by the original owner after car sat for numerous years.  The brakes were fully serviced including all new parts, 4 new shocks, all new hoses and belts, carb. overhaul, new tires, new mufflers, new battery, new distributor, wires, and plugs, new fuel sending unit and gas tank overhaul, new fuel pump and fuel lines, new gaskets, new control arm bushings, and much more.  The original catalytic converter is still in place with newer Magnaflow dual mufflers.  The emergency brake works as it should and holds the car well.  We have driven this car numerous times and it always performs well, it does  not run hot, it rides tight, and is always a joy to drive.  The smiles, thumbs up, and attention you get driving this car really adds to the enjoyment factor.  In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well.  This Z28 is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds.  There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.  It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs excellent.  The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and were recently serviced.  Brand new rotors, calipers, brake hoses and brake pads were installed on the front of car.  Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.  There is a lot of originality under the hood and throughout the car.  This is a factory NON AC car which really cleans up the engine bay and enhances performance.
