Only 150 miles on the build of this car. Upgraded motor, the
underside is completely restored. Fun car, the real ones have shot
up to $400,000!
EXTERIOR: Very slick, polished red finish. It is trimmed out with
the original style Porsche and speedster emblems, it even has the
Stuttgart coach emblem. The headlight covers are glass. Custom
features are the flared wheel wells and chrome nerf bar bumpers.
The wheels are Porsche with excellent tires. The black German cloth
convertible top does not include side curtain windows.
INTERIOR: Inside the car is very nice. Seats have been
reupholstered with leather trim, cloth inserts, red piping and
speedster embroidery. New red seat belts with the Porsche emblem on
the chrome buckle. The dash pad is wrapped in leather. There is an
original style shifter, walnut Moto Lita steering wheel, full set
of matching VDO gauges and a of Coco weave floor mats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has performance 1915 cc VW 4 cylinder motor.
The dual Solex carbs were just rebuilt and synchronized. Has a
remote oil cooler. Very nicely detailed in the motor compartment,
all the components look fresh and new. There is a lot of extra
chrome. The metal schroud is painted red.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Spotless, it stores the gas tank and
battery.
UNDERSIDE: The floor is rust free from a 1974 VW. The pan is
painted gloss red. Front and rear chassis components look
completely restored. The hardware, bushings, brakes, hoses, look
like they have been replaced. Upgraded KYB gas shocks. Bottom of
motor is clean. Has disc brakes in front, drums in back. E-brake is
hooked up. Exhaust looks solid. Underneath this Porsche replica is
better then any we have ever sold.
There are a few minor flaws but overall this is a practically new
car with only 150 miles. It is priced very fairly!
