One owner, 100% rust free Arizona car!
The one and only owner of this rare Thunderbird is today 93 years old and she can't drive the car anymore. Her relatives tell me she always kept the Thunderbird in her garage here in Southern Arizona and under a car cover, since new.
So the body is absolutely rust free and in excellent condition. The paint does have nicks and chips and the cloth on the left front seat is a little worn.
With only 90.000 original miles (little old lady miles I might add) the Ford runs excellent and it is a pleasure to drive.
As this was a relatively expensive car when new it does have many options,
PW, P-seat, Power door locks, A/C, tilt steering wheel and of course the 429 V8 engine.
The color combination is perfect, Maroon red with a black vinyl roof and a red interior, could not be better.
The car is ready to go cruising anytime as she sits, if you want a show car she'll need a paint job and very minor work on the driver seat.
The Thunderbird can be seen at my restoration shop in down town Phoenix, Arizona.
