Another Crawdaddy Classic! Extensive restoration on this freshly painted Monte Carlo S Coupe. Strikingly clean interior. Center console shifter and swivel bucket seats. PS, PB, PW, Tilt, Factory AC, AM/FM. Numbers matching 350 V8, plenty of smooth cruising power and great gas mileage with the 2:73 rear end gears.
VIN indicates manufacture in Fremont, CA. Delivered new to Owen Chevrolet in Hood River, Oregon. Great provenance including build sheet, dealer invoice, GM inspection docs, owners manual, shop manual. Original 1973 gold/blue Oregon plates. Sold new to first owner on 7/12/73. Car remained in dry southern Oregon, including 12 years in storage. Last owner bought car out of storage and finished the restoration in 2016. Then the car came to Arizona.
Car presents very well. Pristine original dash, dash pad, door panels, seats, headliner, visors, window glass, etc. All gauges, environmental controls, indicator lights, etc. are functional except clock. Shiny chrome bumpers and stainless trim. Original rally wheels, derby caps, and beauty rings.
Last owner went over the top in restoring the car which was already in very nice condition. I have receipts documenting over $16,875 in restoration work, at which time mileage was approx. 85,600 as shown on many receipts. Current mileage is 87,700. ALSO! Just completed a professional, full undercarriage restoration. Five step process: Pressure washed, de-greased, old undercoating removed, hand-sanded, chemically cleaned, and then every square inch painted in a combination of blacks, grays, silvers, and oranges, including frame, floor pans, coils, brake drums, wheels, shocks, drive shaft, bottom of engine, exhaust, all other suspension components. etc. Same process accomplished for the entire engine bay. Looks stunning.
Just added new Cooper Cobra's 255-60-R15's. Nitrogen filled, lug nuts correctly torqued to 70 lbs. Virtually no miles, full warranty.
