First appearing in 1937, the Chrysler Royal was a full-sized car with a 6 cylinder engine that was roomier than a lot of cars of the day.
This 1938 Royal has been well-maintained over the years. It belongs to a 90 year old friend of mine who now resides in a rest home. The car is 80 years old now, but is in better shape than a lot of us and sports a mean new coat of white paint with an older interior restoration. Good tires, odometer reads 4,000 miles, probably finally turned over once and is 104,000. Used mostly in parades.
Jay Leno has a '39 Royal he featured on his show "Jay Leno's Garage" in August.
