1970 FORD TORINO 429/4speed 'Cobra' 56K Miles A very solid and
verified low mileage (56,654) 'N' code/429-4v 'Thunder Jet' with
original interior and one 'fair' repaint to the original metallic
blue. The paint is good and smooth but has some runs on hood edges.
The body is very straight, all glass good and except for the one
floor pan there is no other rust through or bubbles. Rockers are
original and those are water droplets in picture. Owner has a new
metal floor pan to replace the rusted one. Some repair(s) were made
around the rear wheel wells but with metal and not the normal
'bondo'. The black plastic grille is broken above the LF headlight
and these come up on eBay from time to time for $150+/- or I hear
you can get new ones.....easy fix. The paint looks good even up
close but is showing some storage scratches and has some runs on
the hood 'foldover'. The other 'foldovers' on the doors and trunk
are good and have only minor rust. Trunk floor is very good as are
the other floor pans, rails, boxes, towers, etc. Window
'boomerangs', mirror and bumpers have some chrome pits/bubbles.
Interior front seat has some corner splitting that could be easily
fixed. Has a very good-no cracks (rare) padded dash. Has the old
rear package shelf and kick panels speakers for the radio in the
glovebox, but have the original box and even the ash tray and mount
that hangs under the dash. This car is extremely fast and has a
great idling 'lope'. It has the original 'N' code block motor and
the original heads have been reworked to higher performance with
milling, a high lift cam, solid lifters, screw-in studs, roller
rockers, etc. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at
