This 100% Western Washington car was purchased new at Smith-Gandy Ford and is a great example of a '66 "flairbird" that is ready to float on down the road for a nice Saturday night cruise or a leisurely Sunday drive. She is a trophy winner and will turn heads wherever you go!

Power comes from the original Ford 390ci V-8 FE block with new hardened valve seats tied to a 3-speed automatic C-6 transmission flowing to the stock rear-end. The radiator has also been re-cored and the car runs great. The front-end has been completely gone through with new ball joints installed.

The interior is in excellent condition with really nice bright work and leather seats. It has full set of gauges that are all functional, as is the unique vertical speedometer. You get in the cockpit by using the classic T-Bird swing away steering column. It has all the options including power brakes, power steering, power windows and original 6-way driver/passenger power seats and a "retro" AM/FM/Cassette radio with power antenna. All glass and chrome inside and out are in good shape as is the headliner.

The exterior was professionally painted in Ford Midnight blue with no major dings or flaws and looks great. The bumpers have been re-chromed and all of the stainless is in excellent condition. The trunk looks like the day it rolled off the assembly line with its new liner and right behind it are the ultra-cool sequential turn signals.

This car just floats down the road like a dream! We have sold a lot of Thunderbirds over the years and you will be hard pressed to find a nicer one at this price anywhere.
