1970 T/A for sale – Lucerne Blue

I have owned this is a beautiful blue Trans Am for 15 years.

This is a rare and desirable color combination.

I purchased the car without a motor and was able to source a complete 1970 YZ Ram Air III

Included with the purchase of the motor was the correct distributor, carburetor, intake and exhaust manifolds.

Include with the purchase of the car was the original accessories and brackets including the rear alternator bracket.

Also included was the original functional hood scoop

Motor and production details:

Block Casting number 9799914 date code H229 - Aug 8, 1969 with matching heads

Car is date code 05D May 4th week of 1970

Paint code is 26

Interior is code is 201 Blue standard, this was replaced with a deluxe black all correct 1970 one year only interior panels

Car has the original Automatic Transmission and 12 bolt posi  with 3.55 gears

I have the PHS for the car

It was sold by Premier Auto Group in Newington CT where the car has spent all its life.

Additional items:

• All the fuel and break lines were replaced with Stainless Steel
• Upgraded all the suspension bushings with ploy graphite
• Upgraded all the frame bushings to ploy graphite
• Motor is fresh with less than 10,000 miles on it and is board 30 over to clean up any ridges
• Original Turbo 400 automatic – was rebuilt with a shift kit
• Floors are original and solid with red oxide paint
• Car has the correct YZ motor with correct carburetor and distributer
• Distributor is still points
• New engine wire harness
• The correct exhaust from Gardner 2 ½ with the correct tips
• Original 12 bolt Posi with 3.55 gears – new bearing and seals
• Replaced the pinion seal and drive shaft Yoke
• Original Bee hive alternator (was rebuilt)
• Correct Hood hinges - rebuilt
• Car has a deluxe interior 
• After market radio was installed without damage to console with 6x9 speakers
• Inner fender wells, Core Support, Sub Frame, and Upper and lower control arm powder coated
• Seats were re-foamed with new reproduction vinyl covers

Have and will go with the car the correct set JW rims and trim rings
